A celebration...

This past weekend I attended a special event. It was a birthday celebration, hitting a milestone worth celebrating (21 I believe ;) , it was a celebration of being a loving Mother and a beautiful Grandmother and was also a celebration of being together, having all the girls in one place.

This beautiful high tea (organized and catered by the lovely Whimsy Petite Styling) was such a perfect way to celebrate such a wonderful lady.

It was so lovely to see all of you together, celebrating in style.

Little M was such a dream, she's so placid, tiny and lovable. Little M was born early as she was in such a hurry to meet her mummy and daddy. Her adjusted age is 3 weeks (a very tricky age to photograph). She did so beautifully though and was so easy. I could have just stood there holding her all day. Thank you so much S and A for having me in your home to take pictures of your adorable baby girl. I hope you love your photos.

At "the office" on Monday, I got to snuggle the most beautiful baby boy. I made him laugh, I made him talk, I snuggled and cuddled and watched him sleep. It was a good day! Thank you so much A and M for having me in your home to take pictures of your perfect little man. He is lovely.

There is something special about sisters, I can't really tell you what it is because I don't have one myself, but you can see it. You can see the bond, and even when they seem to not be getting along, we know how much they love each other, they can't hide it. They proved it by such a simple action as choosing to wear the same shirts (although different colour) to their photo shoot. I adore sisters.

Not only was it a gorgeous day, but I had such a gorgeous pair of kiddo's to work with today. They were so much fun and I'm so happy to have caught them, just being them. This session is a surprise for daddy, so shhhhhhhhhhhhhh, don't tell him.

Now these guys are just a little older than I'm used to. But they were so easy as they smiled on cue, looked into the lens and didn't need me to run back and forwards tickling them.

These three siblings are not only gorgeous, but they're loving as well. These photo's are a gift for their mum's birthday. I really hope your mum, and you guys, love these pics. I sure do.

I've also decided that you must be a family of vampires because no family could all naturally be that gorgeous. :)

and before you know it, she'll be catching fish bigger than herself. Meet little A. A tiny precious little thing. She was so lovely and beautiful, she made my heart ache for another. Her parents are just as gorgeous and have this parenting thing all worked out. On the day of her shoot, A was 12 days old yet her due date wasn't even here, she was due the very next day. I had the privilege of spending time with the gorgeous M family yesterday. Mum and dad were extra lucky and got double the love the first time around with twins, and what a lucky little baby to have two big sisters to be loved by. Baby is so loved already.

Little N was a totally amazing little sprite. He was so active, so full of spark, life and love, everything a toddler is meant to be. I loved his cuddles and little fishy kisses. Thanks for letting me spend some time with your precious boy S. I could have taken him home.

Now this is such a gorgeous little family. Just look at the beautiful curls on big brother. Little R was awake for the whole shoot but I swear the whole time she had an amused look on her face, she was so content and happy. I guess she did have lots of sleep the night before. I hope she keeps up those 7 hour blocks of sleep for you. Not bad for an 8 day old.

My name is Trudie, I've been married to my sweet Jon for 13 years. We have four gorgeous, vibrant children ranging from 9 to 3 years of age. 3 boys and 1 girl, in that order.

My love of photography has always been there but came out a little more when we went on an
African holiday and I bought my first SLR.

Then when I had my children my love of photography came all the way to the surface. It's grown and grown and now I'm branching out to other people and their children.

I am in the port folio building stage of my business so if you want me to shoot for you then now is a good time because I'm cheap cheap cheap :)
